Jaystick sat on his nest, nosing at an assortment of herbs gathered at his feet. He sighed, turning to his apprentice Oakpaw. "Will you help me set this up?"

Skyflower limped into the medicine den, grumbling under her breath. The dark grey spotted tabby she-cat was holding her back leg up as she hobbled in. "Jaystick!" she called irritably. "I tripped and hurt my paw." The she-cat flopped onto the ground, lying on her side, her amber eyes watching the medicine cat.

"Oh, Um," He stammered as he watched the spotted grey she-cat. "H-Hello Jayflower, Skystick, Uh...." He looked down. "Skyflower?"

Skyflower rolled her eyes at the stuttering medicine cat. "Oh, stop with that. I know I'm beautiful, just fix my paw already," the she-cat half-joked, her voice still holding a grumpy tone underneath her light one. She gestured to her paw. "I tripped in a rabbit hole while chasing the rabbit." She looked up at the medicine cat with wide eyes and went on. "Honestly, how do they hide them so well? They are holes in the ground!"

"I d-don't know, I've never hunted before," He gestured to his crippled hind-legs. "I got them crushed by a falling tree," He said matter-of-factly. He grabbed some cobweb and a stick and did his magic. "Don't stress it when you're walking, and don't run"

Skyflower looked at Jaystick. "Oh." She looked at the ground. She grimaced when the medicine cat fixed up her paw, but soon it felt fine. She blinked at the tom. "Thanks," she purred gratefully, getting to her paws, careful not to put weight on the injured one. She started to walk out, but paused at the entrance. "Hey, Jaystick? Would you like to go take a walk with me sometime? We could go by Sunningrocks and sit in the sun," she suggested, amber eyes glowing.

"Oh, Uh, Sure!" He smiled, nodding.

"Oh, Uh, Sure!" He smiled, nodding.

The she-cat smiled. "Great!" She padded out of the den, calling behind her as she went. "See you later!"

Oakpaw sorted the herbs that Troutclaw brought earlier.
"Broom, Cobwebs, Catmint, Ivy leaf, Rush and poppyseeds." Oakpaw listed as she put them in piles.

Jaystick stalked over to his apprentice. "How are you doing?" He said gruffly. Then he growled. "That's Rush, and this is broom. not the other way around"

"Hey jaystick" Oakpaw said as she fixed the piles.

Oakpaw put the Borage Leaves in a pile just in case skyflower needed it.
"Troutclaw did you get more catmint?" Oakpaw asked.
"Yes" Troutclaw said. "And I Aslo got some sorrel, Parsley, Marigold, and some poppy seeds." Troutclaw said giving Oakpaw the herbs.
