Luckstreak nodded. "Yeah." A moment passed, and then more. Luckstreak didn't know what else to say, so he just sat there beside Cloudpaw.

"Where is riverclan?" Couldpaw asked.

Luckstreak scooted away from Cloudpaw. "I don't know," he mewed, shrugging his shoulders. "Maybe something held them up at their camp?"

Jadestar darted as quickly as he could through the throngs of cats. His clan came behind him as he leaped up beside the other leaders. "I'm sincerely sorry for being late. I had to deal with something." He huffed slightly as he finished speaking, his eyes trailing to the new leader. "Ah, Darktail, I see... You have some news. Would you like to begin?" It was quite obvious the previous leader of Shadowclan had died.

Gravelsky let out a sigh as he sat beneath Twilightstar's rock, his eyes half closed as he looked over the gathered cats. Twilightstar still needed to find a new deputy, and quickly. She couldn't keep up with it only being him and her working the clan.

Rabbitrunner padded up behind Luckstreak and her step-daughter, Cloudpaw, the she-cat's eyes shining brightly. She had only just recently became Speedstar's mate, and had hoped that his previous mate's kit wasn't mad at her. "Cloudpaw! Luckstreak! I'm glad to see you two bonding. You've always seemed negative to one another but I'm glad you're finally becoming friends."

Turnippaw sat down the farthest away from the gathered cats. He dipped his head in tired greeting to the Riverclam cats as they passed before letting out an awkward yawn.

Lightpaw prissfully padded closest to Darktail, her yellow eyes directing at any cat who dared to speak out that the deputy shouldn't sit in a leader's place. She hadn't expected no one would say anything, as if it were natural for a deputy to suddenly assume the leader's position. She stayed lookout still, protective of Shadowclan's nee leader.

Luckstreak quickly scooted away from Cloudpaw, putting on a formal air. He dipped his head to Rabbitrunner. "Greetings," he mewed evenly, showing no emotion. The tom let out a small chuckle. "Oh, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but we weren't bonding. We were just speaking as acquaintances. You know, new warrior to apprentice."
