Skyflower ran through the trees, her tail lashing and her thumping paws scaring away any prey. The trees blurred and she mentally cursed herself. Stop it you piece of fox-dung! You don't cry! It's okay, you never liked Jaystick anyway, he's a medicine cat after all. Skyflower shook her head while she ran, eventually slowing when she heard the river. She padded over to the water, staring down at her reflection. Oh, StarClan help me.

Troutclaw was in the water as he had a fish in his jaws.

Skyflower heard a splash and looked to her left (ooo so specific). "Troutclaw?" she asked, craning her neck to get a better look at the cat in the water.

Troutclaw began to swim up the water with the fish.

The she-cat huffed in annoyance when the cat didn't answer or even acknowledge her. She started walking down the river to a fishing spot that she knew. It had lots of fish and she knew it might cool her off.

Troutclaw was slapped by the fish before he had killed it.

Reaching the fishing spot, Skyflower leaped into the water, widening her eyes so she could see. She swam down, spotting a fat carp. Her paws churned through the water and propelled her so she could grab the fish in her jaws. Swimming back up to the surface, the she-cat tossed the fish onto land before climbing out and killing it.

"Where did skyflower go?" Troutclaw asked before seeing 2 more trouts. He dived in the water catching the trouts.(He's a trout magnet)

Skyflower dove back into the water and came up with a few more fish before heaving herself onto the riverbank. She flicked her tongue out a few times, not exactly loving the taste of fish scales. "Bleh," she meowed, wrinkling her nose.

Skyflower padded along the river with her friends, Jaystick and Troutclaw. Her belly was slowing her down and the grey she-cat was falling behind, panting.
