Aspenkit wiggled over to her mother, tucking herself safely by her side and away from the other unknown cats and her siblings. She mewled loudly as she sought comfort from her mother.

Skyflower stared at Jaystick for a moment before shaking her head slightly and turning back to her daughter. She licked her ears, and whispered, "Don't sorry, sweet. I'm here." Aspenkit let out a little purr and settled down, falling back asleep.

Jadestar padded into the nursery, his eyes adjusting to the dim light. His eyes locked on the kits born to Skyflower. This was unexpected from his view but he didn't say much. "Sorry that I haven't visited sooner! My duties caught up to me. Your kits are lovely though, what are their names?

Jadestar blinked for a moment as he relized it was his medicine cat who had spoken. He flicked his tail with a small growl of recognition. The clan had likely kept the truth from him to let him find out himself. "Might I talk to you outside, Jaystick?" He spoke with a soft growl as he gazed at the kits. Starclan forbid they are truly his. Oakpaw wouldn't know enough to be a full medicine cat while Jaystick is suspended from his duties.
